Project CARS offers ten game modes, the most extensive of which is Career. All classes of vehicles - including cards, touring cars, retro cars and LMP cars (a total of several dozen licensed machines) - are available from the beginning of the game. This is a reflection of the developers' intentions that players will be given true freedom to choose their career path, rather than following a predetermined path of development. The cars can be tuned in detail, both in terms of performance and the appearance of the body. The driving model in Project CARS is very realistic, meticulously reflecting the influence of the smallest parts of the car and engine on driving. At the same time, the creators offered the possibility to adjust the difficulty level to the needs of the player, thanks to various types of driver aids. The current road conditions are also of great importance for the gameplay. People from Slightly Mad Studios took care of the dynamic weather system and the day and night cycle. The game contains an impressive number of racetracks located all over the world, most of which are virtual mapping of real places. Along with them, popular racing series appeared: Clio Cup, Kart, GT3 class and Le Mans. In addition to the single player mode, there was also an extensive multiplayer module. You can race against the "ghost" of another player or create your own competition and compete with living people in real time. The computer version of Project CARS is characterized by extremely realistic graphics, at maximum settings offering a resolution of 12K. The improved Madness engine, previously used in the Shift series, is responsible for the visuals and physics. In addition, the game supports Oculus Rift technology - virtual reality glasses.
