Strange question...but I cannot find "heavy cream" in my local
2022年11月28日 · The whipping cream and heavy cream do in fact both turn into whipped cream first. However, the heavy cream will eventually separate. The whipping cream never separates. At least not in my machine. No idea if thats always the case for every device or method.

2022年11月22日 · If there's butter, there is no shortage of heavy cream....as whipped heavy cream turns into butter. This time of year heavy cream is used A LOT. Also, there's only usually 2-3 brands of heavy cream. It's always in stock where I live, but our store does seem to stock more heavy cream than say Walmart.

2023年4月19日 · Check around different Walmart stores. I went to a WM Market and they had half gallon cartons for about $7. I know Costco sells larger bottles of cream. Your other option is to check the smaller grocery stores, maybe some of the ethnic stores. I have had some luck getting larger quantities from stores like this.

If you want a direct cream substitute, silk has a vegan heavy cream that is found in most dairy sections of supermarkets, and it works quite well. Spoiler alert, it's also made mostly from cashews. Bonus, it actually whips like heavy cream, if you want vegan whipped cream. It's not quite the same, but it is pretty good.

Ohio here. Local Krogers is completely out of all heavy whipping cream. I usually go to Target for it anyway. Found that Target sold a quart for $2.99 over two years ago and it has always been that price. Well this month I went in to buy the usual six cartons and the price is now $4.99 per quart. A 60% increase. Dam.

2021年9月20日 · The problem is to balance the cream out the milk needs to be thrown away in the factory after the cream is extracted, and that isn't happening due to the costs it would impart. To get the factories to make more cream, the dry milk consuming factories need to ramp back up, and that will take another year.
