2008年11月2日 · It really depends on what you need the tractor for. I went from a 2WD 25 hp Kubota to a 4WD 35 hp Ford. The bigger tractor is great for heavier loader work, box blading, york raking, brush hogging etc. But, IMO, the backhoe is still of limited use and the tractor is too big for mowing and blowing in tight or wet spaces.

I'd look into getting a compact tractor or SCUT and then renting a mini-hoe to do the jobs the the tractor can't do. You can rent a mini-hoe for $500 - $600 a week.

2021年10月8日 · The price inst too bad. Those older industrial tractors are worth a fair amount considering they kind of rare. That tractor is the same as a john deere 2020 farm tractor. Parts are readily available. If its starts and operates, I would say it's a good price. Just make sure to check all pins and bushings.

2006年8月18日 · A couple years ago I had a local fab shop add a 13" section to my bucket. He cut it and welded in 1/4" steel. It made the bucket much more useful with wood and dirt. If I heap the bucket with dirt now it is just about max for the tractor. I can get 2 rows of wood stacked in the the bucket. Doug

2011年4月12日 · I agree with Jags, turning a small garden tractor into a skidder will have very limited results. Better to pull a trailer but trying to pull a big heavily loaded trailer out of the woods is limited by the tractor HP, weight and traction. ATV are expensive, and are not in the same league as a good size tractor.

Get some rolls of emery cloth,fine grits and some polishing oil,or WD40.Wet with oil and with a piece of emery cloth start polishing.If you really want a smooth finish use crocus cloth as the final polish grit,probably wouldn't rust for yrs. If it was a new expensive tractor,you could go the expensive way. Thomas
