What is an amplifier? An amplifier is a device that increases its input by a certain quantity, passing through it, called gain. How many types of amplifier exist? The most popular amplifiers are the Op Amp (VCVS) and the Transconductance (VCIS). Are all the Op Amps connected in closed loop? Majority of applications use the Op Amp in closed loops.
