I am in need of new tires. The set of tires I am looking at (Michelin Defenders) are both at Costco and Discount Tire. I am normally a Discount Tire shopper as they have always been good to me. But I only recently looked at Costco. They have the same tire, but with an extra $40 off (Costco gives $150 off a set of 4, while Discount only gives $110).

And, costco usually has an $80 coupon on tires, it alternates between Bridgestone and Michelin every other month.

2023年6月2日 · Costco comes only with prorated warranty. Discount Tire comes with the same prorated warranty for free. The tire certificate that costs money will give you new tires for free (you get a whole new tire if something bad happens to your worn tires). Discount Tire does everything that Costco does with better service and more locations.

2022年8月4日 · I've used Costco and Discount Tire. Now I'm only using Discount Tire. The tire prices aren't that much better and the service at Discount Tire is miles ahead. Any money savings is more than eaten up by the time wasted waiting for the vehicle to get done at Costco. Rotations, balancing, and flat repairs are way better there.
