Since I don't have an Xbox, I'm thinking of buying a Microsoft Store gift card and then spending that money to buy V-Bucks from the Microsoft Store. Will this transfer the V-Bucks to my account?

For those who play on the PC the items have to be purchased directly from the Epic store.
