But the dipping sauce my Dad taught me to make was some ketchup, apple cider vinegar, little franks red hot sauce, dash tabasco, little water and old bay. I haven't tasted a better dipping sauce yet, but then again, I have tried very few.

2006年5月17日 · About 15 years a go my grandfather took me to a crab feast he brought a "secret sauce" to dip his crab meat after he picked them. I fell in love with the dip. Turns out it is just some cider vinegar and old bay. I have turned many crabbers on to this over the years. give it a try if you have never tried it makes the meat even better.

2007年5月23日 · I have been trying to make the red crab dipping sauce that you can only get at DiNardo's in Philly. A worker there recently told me that even since the restaurant sold, one of the original owners still holds the recipe for the dipping sauce. I've read some old posts with varying ingredients mentioned. I do not believe oregano is in the sauce.
