gen chem will be required of a lot of majors (in one of the colleges that are my top choice, it’s required for ALL sciences and ALL engineering whereas bio is only required for the life sciences and chemistry (because chem majors have to take biochem and biochem without knowing any bio is kinda suicidal from what fellow students have told me)

2021年2月10日 · I think that taking AP Bio would be a good idea as long as your teacher isn't bad, which it doesn't seems like it is. The concepts in AP Bio overall aren't too abstract and are understandable. A lot of homework might suck in the short run, but in the long run, it means that you will be understanding and learning them better.

took regular bio freshman year, regular chem sophomore year, and currently in ap chem and id say (specifically at my school but also in general) that chem is harder. one of my best friends is in ap bio and ive seen her stuff - its just a lot of memorization and some is covered in regular bio as well. chem, in my opinion, is definitely a little more conceptual and builds off of previous topics.

2023年7月7日 · The AP class that many people compare Bio to is Chem, which I took last year and got a 4. Chem is definitely more conceptual than Bio, which is more memorization based, at least from my experience. Although Bio may be more memorization, there still is the application part about it too.
