Steam support was amazing and got me my money back within 2 days after confirming the charges were fraudulent, but something like that shouldn't have happened in the first place. 2023年3月8日 · Next time you're in Walmart go to the PC/video game section. The Walmart here moved them from the gift card section to that section. This is where I usually buy them. Sold out for two weeks now. The empty slots are still there but no cards. Same at Target and Best Buy. No cards. Live in central US in a large population area. < >

So how exactly is Steam forcing them to sell those cards? And why does this blackmailing or "gun to your head" or whatever not force them to actually put them on display? For this, it would also be interesting to know how much a shop gets from selling a $20 game vs. selling a $20 Steam card. Walmart surely isn't selling their OWN games, after all.

Walmart has been told by Steam to sell only one card per customer according to customer service. Unless Walmart customer service is lying. Maybe an actual steam employee could clarify. you wont get a steam employee to reply on the forum.
