French President Emmanuel Macron has outlined plans for a military support force for Ukraine, developed by France, the UK, and other nations in a “coalition of the willing.”

Emmanuel Macron has said that Russia will have no say in whether foreign troops are deployed to Ukraine to ensure a future ceasefire.

In the matter of deploying foreign troops, Ukraine can proceed without Russia's approval. If troops are sent, they will remain on Ukrainian territory, states French President Emmanuel Macron in an interview with Le Parisien.

French President Emmanuel Macron said the stationing of peacekeeping troops in Ukraine, as proposed by Britain and France as part of a ceasefire agreement with Russia, is a question for Kyiv to decide and not Moscow.
