Gallery Pastry Shop on North College Avenue is preparing to serve patrons for the final time. Why it matters: With the shuttering of its SoBro location this Sunday, the brunch spot that burst onto the Indy dining scene with a tray of European-inspired pastries nearly a decade ago will no longer have a brick-and-mortar presence in the Circle City.

Nearly nine years after opening its original 54th Street restaurant, Gallery Pastry will soon close its last remaining location, though it doesn't plan to vacate the Indianapolis dining scene entirely.

Gallery Pastry owner Alison Keefer said she plans to focus on design consulting, private catering and the care of three sons.
