Could someone please open up a separate review section for the cafe/restaurant so as to distinguish those from the Museum as a whole? Most of the 4 and 5 star reviews consist of people commenting on the catering, whereas the 1-3 star reviews tend to be about the Museum element. Its confusing to conflate the two.

I agree,the cafe should be kept separate as whatever score the elements get reflects on the establishment as a whole.

It may not be everything you might want as a positive promotion for your home city but as a visitor to Dundee we found it to be an inspirational, engaging and enjoyable attraction.
V&A Dundee will only be closed to the public on the 25th and 26th December 2019, and will be open as usual across the rest of the festive period from 10am to 5pm.
Why is the content of the museum so poor. It’s an absolute disgrace that all the money and publicity put towards this fabulously iconic building yet the content is just not worth the tome of day

That is a very good question as there is so much wasted space in my opinion. Maybe they want the minimalist look so that what little there is on display stands out ??!!
Reading an article from the Dundee Courier in which it says, “Galleries one and two which will host exhibitions provided by the V&A for the first two years”, does that mean the VandA will stop providing exhibits after this period?

I believe V&A London is to provide exhibitions for the first ten years.
